Mortgage Maturity Date Calculator
The Date of Your Last Mortgage Payment — and How to Bring It Forward.
About the Mortgage Maturity Date Calculator
Use our Mortgage Maturity Date Calculator to find the date of your last scheduled mortgage payment — the day the loan is paid off in full.
“From the loan term” counts from your first payment date: a 30-year loan has 360 monthly payments, so the last one falls 359 months after the first, on the same day of the month (or the month’s last day when that month is shorter).
“From balance and payment” works out how many payments your balance still needs at your interest rate and monthly payment, and shows the last payment, the interest still to pay and a dated payment schedule. Add an extra monthly payment to see how much sooner you’d be done and how much interest you’d save.
The calculator also shows how many payments are behind you as of today. The maturity date in your loan documents only changes if the loan is refinanced or modified.
