Retirement Calculator with Inflation
Plan Your Retirement Savings in Today’s Dollars.
About the Retirement Calculator with Inflation
Use our Retirement Calculator with Inflation to project what your retirement savings will grow to, what your expenses will cost by the time you retire, and the yearly contribution you need to reach a savings goal.
Your current savings and a yearly contribution grow at the return you expect. Because prices rise over time, the calculator also shows what that future amount is worth in today’s dollars — the buying power you will actually have.
For the contribution you need, enter a savings goal — or let the calculator work one out from your expenses: your yearly expenses at retirement divided by a withdrawal rate, such as 4% (25 times your expenses).
Returns and inflation are kept steady, and taxes and Social Security are not included, so treat the results as a planning estimate. To see the income your savings could pay, use our Retirement Income Calculator.
